Otome Bunraku
Foundation Modern Puppet Center
We started our foundation in 1969 by the investment of Puppet Theatre Hitomi and approval of Ministry of Education. We are working to propagate puppetry to society more than performance activity as a puppet theatre, for the succession, spread and development of puppetry. We offer new activity of puppetry at all times such as organizing Deaf Puppet Theatre Hitomi with deaf actors, inviting to perform foreign puppet theaters periodically, succession of Otome Bunraku, exhibition of
Karakuri puppet at the whole country and so on.
