The exhibit features work from the 13th iteration of the Committee photography project launched in 1999.

In December 2010 and July 2011, two photographers from Estonia and Finland visited Akita prefecture to depict it in Vol.13.

For photographing, they were assisted a lot by the team of the Zerodate art project, who organizes various art activities for all ages and genre in the city of Odate, Akita prefecture.

In this exhibition, their works show the "Now" of Akita which was seen from two different European eyes.

We hope that their works will be an opportunity for the people of Turku and Europe in order to think about Japan and ponder the meaning of life.
