This year, wacss is conducting various programs such as experiencing daily landscapes and moments through Tree house camera of the last-year program "Mori no Chikara IV", and the art tour. Together with invited guest Tokihiro Sato, associate professor at the Tokyo University of the Arts Department of Inter Media Art and acclaimed for his execution of a variety of art projects in Japan and overseas, we have a two-day workshop. The eleventh in this series held since 2004 in which the objective is to engage with art through the camera and experience the importance of self-expression is going to be held in summer was held in summer holiday as "Museum round of Dokidoki Youth Photography II". Day 1 is the art tour visiting Tree house camera with artist, and experience of pin hall camera. Day 2 is to create pin hall camera and art works of their own.
We have scheduled Photo exhibition and performance in our Touch the Art program of community exchange on the theme "To live".
As last year, wacss will continue to support cultural activities in the community with such events as rakugo, choral and classical music performances.

Non-profit organization wacss was formed in 2001 grounded in the concept that art animates towns and people. Children intrinsically have infinite possibilities, as well as tremendous potential and powers of expression. We consider it of importance to draw out and nurture their sensibilities and work to give children many opportunities to engage with art.
wacss conducts numerous art programs to share with the future of our society the range of emotion that we experience and make them aware of the importance of self-expression.
