5th edition of JAFF - Japanese Animation Film festival took place from 15th till 24th of April, 2011 in Tallinn and Tartu.
In 2011 JAFF was included into the program of events of "Tallinn-the European Capital of Culture 2011". Festival presents to Estonian audience more than 30 animation films, including retrospective of director Kon Satoshi and the program of short films-winners of Japan Media Arts Festival competition.
At the opening ceremony of 5th JAFF took place charitable concert of Symphony Orchestra of Tallinn Music College with program of music from studio "Ghibli" films, which is conducted by Yukihiro Notsu.
During festival took place cosplay-show with participation of guests from Latvia and "stars" of domestic anime fan clubs. Very successfully works information desk of festival. It was a real center of festival life.

  • Organization of film festival and events ( JAFF - annual Japanese Animation Film festival in Tallinn) Festival of national cinemas "Long Distances" ( films from "exotic" countries ) etc.
  • Organization of special events, exhibitions etc.;
  • Edition of anime magazine "Akikhabara";
  • Distribution of art-house European and Asian films in Estonia;
  • Development of film projects, in pre-production - "Tangerines" by director Zaza Urushadze
  • Film production.
