The East by Northeast Asian Film Festival (EBNAFF) presented a compelling and exciting showcase of new and classic Japanese and other Asian films. In close partnership with Tallinn University, the Film Festival coordinated its showings and complementary events with the 13th International Conference of the European Association of Japanese Studies. People in Tallinn understood more about Japan and Asia through these movies and programs, and thought more about the influence toward modern society and culture. The festival aims to develop Tallinn as the place of dispatch to show Asia-related programs in North and East Europe.
