Federico Leon "ME IN THE FUTURE"（2010）
This project is the second edition of the first international performing arts festival in Kyoto, founded in November, 2010.
The environment of performing arts in Kyoto in these ten years, promoted by institutions such as Kyoto Art Center and Kyoto University of Art and Design, has produced a number of talented artists who have been leading the Japanese contemporary performing arts, and has constructed direct international networks. By applying such regional resources, this festival will make opportunities for people to know the "Present" of the Kyoto arts and culture, and to re-realize the significance of the performing arts. Moreover, the festival will look for a new way of the relationship between art and the society, and promote exchanges of people in Kyoto through art. Thus it aims to promote the mutual understanding of different values and to advance the cultivation of human resources for the future.

Kyoto International Performing Arts Festival 2010 Executive Committee was launched in April, 2010 - made up of Kyoto City, Kyoto Arts and Culture Foundation, Kyoto Art Center, Kyoto Performing Arts Center at Kyoto University of Art and Design, and NPO Kyoto Arts Meeting. The chairman of the committee is Koujin Ota, the chairman of Kyoto Art Center Steering Committee. The committee's organization is based on the staff and the network which "Theater Project", the project Kyoto Art Center (founded in 2000) hosted and conducted from 2004 to 2009, fostered.
