Tokyo Northern Lights Festival aims at continuously introducing and screening North Europe's Film works which haven't had high awareness and only a few of them have been shown in Japan, even though they have excellent human resources and high evaluations.
People, from children to elderly, are able to experience life and the culture of North European countries through films and events at Shibuya with forested promotion bases of sub-culture and high-culture on February, which is the coldest month of the year.
Further, they pursue to establish a cultural festival such as "CAMERA JAPAN" that is aims not only screening films but combining "city" and "film" together, and people are able to have opportunities to come across new friends, to talk each other and to share meaningful time through "North Europe films".
