Japan-Square Film Festival

<From the organizer>
Japan-Square vzw is a small non-profit organization founded in 2009 in Ghent, Belgium. Our aim is to organize events in promotion of the Japanese culture, the main event being the annual Japan Square Film Festival. Through a diverse and surprising film lineup, as well as various side-activities, the audience can get acquainted with a Japan, beyond its cliches. The festival offers an eclectic mix of Japanese cinema, new and old, well-known and upcoming directors and multiple Belgian premieres. And with each film representing a different genre and different theme, the programme invites the audience to various aspects of Japan and its culture.
