Japan Surveys & Consultations

Ms. Sirje Helme and Ms. Kersti Tiik from Art Museum of Estonia visited the national museum of western art.

Working for deeper cultural exchange between Europe and Japan!

The EU-Japan Fest Japan Committee supports Japan visits to conduct groundwork and consultations by people working on the programs of past, current and future European Capitals of Culture. The objectives are to meet and engage in dialog with Japanese artists and people involved in culture and the arts, to make contact with the real Japanese art scene of actual work and performances, and to promote the formulation of program content that bears fruit for both Japan and Europe.
We hope also that these encounters and collaborations continue and develop in future, leading to deeper mutual understanding in culture and the arts in Europe and Japan.
