Kaunas 2022 (Lithuania)

Kaunas, a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of design, has carried out various design-related initiatives in its preparatory activities for the European Capital of Culture. This autumn, Kaunas hosted a series of design events named “Designing Happiness” and colorful programs were delivered.
As part of the event, an exhibition displaying designs and artworks created during the lockdown was held online!

Esch 2022 (Luxembourg)

Esch will host the European Capital of Culture in 2022 together with Kaunas. Artworks by two artists from Luxembourg were displayed at an art exhibition “Knyveli” which featured face-coverings held as part of “Designing Happiness”, a series of design events organized by Kaunas 2022. Preparatory activities have been underway with collaborations between two host cities of ECoC 2022!
