#MeetArtist! Workshop and “TOKYO MAZE Project” Symposium by Director Hiroshi Koike

Mr. Hiroshi Koike, a director who has staged productions in 42 countries around the world, participated in the project in Wrocław, Poland. On 21 September , Mr. Koike will lead a one-day, six-hour “Spatial Production Workshop” and on 2 October a symposium “The Possibility and Value of Creativity and Cultural Impact of Art.

In the workshop on 21 September, participants will create a work that can only be called performing arts, utilizing the characteristics of the place and the participants, as well as “slow movement,” a training method that sharpens the body’s senses and awareness of time. How about surrendering your head and body to this stimulating 6-hour experience?

Anyone can take the class. There is no age limit, but please do not send preschoolers or younger children.
You do not have to be an artist or performer. Those who have never been on stage or involved in theater are welcome!

2 October TOKYO MAZE Planning – Symposium Under the theme of “Tokyo 50 years from now,” parties at the forefront of art, photography, performing arts, and box-office (entertainment) will hold a panel discussion on “creativity and creativity” and “development of art and culture” from their respective perspectives. The symposium is part of the “TOKYO MAZE” project, a multidisciplinary art program led by Mr. Koike.
