27 Neighborhoods, one of the flagship program of the European Capital of Culture Rijeka 2020, carries out various together with 27 municipalities in the county of Primorje-Gorski-Kotar. The program includes festivals and projects in collaboration with artists based on the history, cultural heritage and customs of each municipality. Ms Akiko Sato participated in the project in Gornji Kuti, a village with a beech forest and an 80-year-old library. After communicating with the local people and conducting field research, she created an installation for a well that has been in use since 1887 and bookshelves in the forest. On August 7th, "Happy Village Kuti" was held in Gornji Kuti village with presentations of other projects they are collaborating on. A large number of people gathered for the unveiling of the well installation "Buna Bunar", which was widely covered in the local press.
