Novi Sad 2021 (Serbia)
In preparation for the European Capital of Culture, Culture Stations have been installed in various areas in Novi Sad. They work as centers of activities by citizens, local cultural and artistic organizations, and volunteer groups, and various events have been held there over the years.
Recently, at the Svilara Culture Station, a performing arts program “Silk Memories” was held in collaboration with the local community, organized by Novi Sad’s Center for Theater Research. The program focused on the history of the silk textile industry in Novi Sad.

Eleusis 2021 (Greece)
Eleusis is known as a place of “Eleusinian Mysteries”, a secret ritual devoted to Demeter and Persephone in the ancient Greek era.
A performance based on a poetry work “Persephone” by Yannis Ritsos, who was a distinctive Greek poet of the 20th century was performed at the archeological site in the city.

Timisoara 2021 (Romania)
In Timisoara, a variety of preparatory activities are in progress for the European Capital of Culture. A project installing murals in “Student Complex”, a district which consists of university facilities is underway! Images of the murals were chosen from works collected through an open call held last month.
