Position :
Japanese Calligrapher
Calligraphy (Japanese Calligraphy) artist. There are many areas within calligraphy - artistic, practical, educational and performance - and I am in the area of traditional artistry. I was born into a family that practised this traditional art of calligraphy. A piece of calligraphy contains many elements, including the meaning of the written word, the design of the letters and the density of the ink, the technique, the artistic expression and the spirit of the artist, and more. The existence of this artistic field within calligraphy is almost unknown, even in Japan. I have a career on the business side and have experience in strategic consulting firms and venture companies. In addition to my work as an artist, I am also involved in promoting 'undiscovered, traditional artistic calligraphy' outside Japan. *The website features many of the works of my father, who preceded me
