Oh! You may be thinking, "Why didn't I realize that there was such a wonderful Japanese language before? I must be thinking that. With the warm rhythm and intonation of my readings, I hope to build a bridge with Europeans. First of all, please listen to my reading of "Granny's Back and a Blow of Rubble" at the Works. My reading is in Kesen-go, the second language of Japan, which is the proud accent of Japanese prayers. It is the voice of a poet who fully utilizes the poetic sentiment of that Kesen language. That is why I would like Europeans to listen to this reading. The powerful voice of the poet, the second son of a fisherman, speaks to you. The rhythm of the bouncing waves of the fishing boat on which I made shibuki as a boy is strongly imprinted in my body and has become the rhythm of the Kesen dialect of the fjord cove, which is rare in Japan. That's why even I, with my strong fisherman's accent, can do simple and melancholy readings. I also do a lot of readings at events, and people from all walks of life come to listen to my unique and warm accent. I spent my college life in the city of Tokyo, but I still can't get rid of this accent. This is a characteristic of the Kesen dialect of the port town on the rias coast where I grew up. That's why the Kesen dialect reading is shouted. The Kesen reading is shouted so that Europeans can hear the Kesen dialect reading. First of all, try listening to it. I am sure you will find that it is a poetry reading that will touch your heart and build a bridge.
