Journeying across tropical islands, you see nature in all its various guises. The brilliance of the ocean, produced by the coral and the sun's light. The way the colors and shapes of the clouds change as they drift across a sky that never stays the same. The sight of trees growing with quiet inner strength overlaps in my mind with images of people striving to live their lives to the fullest. We resonate with and are stimulated by the colors and shapes that nature possesses. And I continue to create those infinitely varied colors and images by imprinting shapes and colors upon translucent cloth. The inner spirit obtained from nature is in my heart.
