Tea ceremony is a part of my everyday life since my first stay in Japan in 1998. In 2006, I was honored to continue my studies in Kyoto at the school of the Urasenke Grandmaster, at Urasenke Gakuen Professional College of Chado. Since 2010, as the artistic leader of Urasenke Tankokai Hungary Association, I have developed teaching method that fits to local people, established place for practice and managed more than 500 events, such as daily teachings, intensive study seminars, group events and also lectures, workshops, stage performances for the public. Peacefullness through a bowl of tea is an universal message of Chado, which gets more and more importance nowadays. Taking part in this global mission is my personal mission.

Works

Cooperation of Hungarian Urasenke group members and Japanese artists visiting
Hungary during an event organized by Japanese Foundation in Hungary.

Daily tea practise at home

In Hungary wagashi is not available, so I started to practise wagashi making in 2010, so that
Hungarian tea practitioners can experience matcha tea in its traditional way, together with
Japanese sweets.
