I make sculptures using ceramics as my material. Clay, which forms our earth, is a fundamental material that stimulates our senses. I am guided by the texture of the clay, and through firing, I draw out the unique qualities of the clay and transform it into a new material. I am interested in spatial expression that transforms the physical senses, and my works often take the form of installations. In the same way, in my three-dimensional works, I aim to create a form of expression that interacts with the space around me and touches my physical senses.
