Born in Ishikawa, Japan in 1991. Rui Yamaguchi graduated from Kansai Universitys Faculty of Business and Commerce (BA, 2015) and is currently completing an MA in Tokyo University of the Arts Department of Intermedia Art. Yamaguchi now lives and works in Ishikawa and Tokyo. He makes video installations that recapture the contours of identity through the act of visualizing boundaries. Yamaguchi has exhibited in Japan and internationally; including at: “ON LIMITS at the Shinyurakucho #Sonoaida (Tokyo, Japan), “A-TOM ART AWARD 2022 Vernacular and Dawn at the CourtyardHIROO (Tokyo, Japan), and “On My Way - Sharing Experiences at Under the Mango Tree (Berlin, Germany).
