Ms Sung Nam Han, organizer of Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo, participates in Nakanojo Biennale!! Her installation work “Diver” is exhibited and she will deliver some performance “Under the Deep” at the weekends. The opening of the Nakanojo Biennale is rescheduled for two days and it is 13 of September! Please check the details!
★Message from artist★
As I filmed “Diver” with the theme of humans and their labors in the sea, various topics came to me, such as deep-sea research, earthquake disasters, satoumi activities (Increasing biological productivity and biodiversity by human interaction in the coastal area), environmental issues, SDGs, maritime archeology, gender, and sex. This video installation work that includes the sound of the deep sea can only be experienced at Isama Studio Park Gymnasium. A special performance “Under the Deep” will also be held for six days, mainly on weekends during the Nakanojo Biennale 2021.
