The Shiogama Photo Festival, one of the largest photography art festivals in Tohoku area of Japan, started in 2008 and has been held continuously ever since. Ms. Mikiko Kikuta, artistic director of our photography project "European Eyes on Japan / Japan Today", has been involved in the festival for many years. The festival is currently accepting applications for 40 participants to take part in a portfolio review! Participants will be able to have their work critiqued by experts, and the grand prize winner will be given the opportunity to produce a photo book! The application period is from February 10 to 20.
