The "New Cosmos of Photography" is an open competition sponsored by Canon Inc. to discover, nurture, and support new photographers who are challenging the possibilities of photographic expression. For 30 years since its inauguration in 1991, the "New Cosmos of Photography" has promoted creative projects that have given birth to many new photographers active in Japan and abroad.
