Yukio Suzuki's solo performance and workshop in Germany, which had been postponed due to the Corona disaster. It was held as 10th anniversary event of the venue. Workshop was attended by a wide range of participants from dancers to beginners, who all expressed their delight, saying that they had never felt and moved their bodies in such a complex way before, and that they enjoyed the moment when beautiful dance was created. The performance in the space where the art was exhibited was composed of simple lighting and sounds that stimulated the five senses, directly conveying the power of dance. Many audience saying, "The space came to life," and "I was happy to witness the 'present place' of butoh".
It was also a valuable opportunity to meet with artists and directors active in Europe, because the Tanzmesse exhibition was being held at the same time. The fact that we were able to report recent activities and even talk about projects for the next year. It was a great opportunity for us to meet everyone not “online”. We felt the importance of visiting place, meeting people directly.
