Formed in 2023, the groundbreaking duo of Garei Nakagawa and Gahou Griffin weaves a unique tapestry of sound with the koto, shamisen, and wind instruments, seamlessly blending tradition and innovation.
Garei Nakagawa, a grand master of the koto and shamisen, has disciples around the world and actively performs concerts, preserving tradition while constantly exploring new forms of musical expression. Gahou Griffin, after a distinguished career as a professional wind instrumentalist, embarked on a new path as a koto master. Their meeting led to the creation of a one-of-a-kind duo.
Transcending genres and language barriers, their performances captivate audiences worldwide through lecture concerts conducted in Japanese, Spanish, and English.
