Milan-based Japanese artist Osamu Tanimoto works across oil painting, printmaking, and 3D sculpture. As a drawing and painting instructor at the Milano Painting Academy, he brings the rigor of figurative art training—rooted in drawing and painting from life and imagination—into his own practice. His art explores a dialogue between Renaissance European traditions and the refined sensibility of Japanese aesthetics.
