Between 1985 to 1992, as a member of the Japanese renowned Taiko group, KODO in the early stages, I performed on +800 stages In Japan and around the world.  Seeking to widen my musical journey, I have worked since then as one of Top Taiko artist, with a cross-section of genres, including world famous musicians such as Chris Martin(Coldplay), David Benoit(Piano), Terry Bozzio(Drum), Alphonso Johnson(Bass) and sessions with many other top musicians. With this unique experience, I have produced all kinds of music compositions and music events, which have received commendations, performing and holding workshops in 34 countries.  Most recently, I have worked with Donal Lunny(Irish Bouzouki), a legend of Irish Traditional Music who is recognised for his great musical collaborations.  I really would like the people of the world to know and understand the wonderful cultural soul of Japan through the Taiko Drum.
