The virtual artist-in-residence project “MSR = HAAG SAEZ (MINAMISANRIKU = HAGUE SPECIAL ART EXPERIMENT ZONE)” will present two works at their online event on 5 December! Two selected artists from the Netherlands worked on creating a new way of travel and will release virtual travel applications, each with a unique and familiar name! Resident artists Aydee Derix and Piet Verkleij have been developing special apps, “Holiday glimplse” and “Minaving (Minamsanriku + Scheveningen)”, which takes you to a new territory in between the Netherlands and Japan. Once you obtain the travel package, you get right inside it by simply scanning the QR code.
Aydee and Piet will give presentations on how they created their works and their residency experience at MSR = HAAG SAEZ.
