The major theme of my works centers around the connection between everyday life and universality. I aim to indirectly show how our lives are connecting with nature, history, society, and a variety of universal things. It is an attempt at deviating from preconceptions as well. It suggests to re-consider about pleasure and meaning of life, and the possibility of getting new aspects and views about our everyday life with a bit of artificiality and abstraction. I am making abstract shapes from ordinary images and find similarities and/or intersections between two completely irrelevant things. Often, I use common materials and images such as familiar landscapes and objects. However, in my works, they transform into other images, and images are like floating between figure and abstract.
