My name is Kaoru Shinsen. I am a Japanese poet. Japanese poetry has a long
and rich history, as well as, a unique and beautiful sound. Poetry has a powerful
impact on its listeners. I would like to spread Japanese poetry to countries in the
European Union. Language opens doors to meet and connect with new people all over the
world. I hope that my body of work will serve as a bridge to people in Europe.
I believe that poetry has the possibility to change people's minds.
