Dancer based in Tokyo, performance all over world. “Dancing on soul regardless of genres. Atsushi Takahashi was born on 7th February 1979. He became widely known after he joined Japanese rock band Dragon Ash as a dancer in 2001. He started his career as a solo dancer in 2006 performing domestically and internationally. He has performed at historic buildings such as museums, shrines and temples collaborating with Japanese traditional performing arts as well as a variety types of artists. He has been in various runway shows as a model. He has walked runway shows during Men's Paris fashion week. He also performed in Asia, Europe and the US, he had experience in being an ambassador for Russia culture festival. He started a project 'POWER of LIFE' to convey how great life force is and importance of power of life. After 3.11(the aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami), he has held GAMA ROCK FES in Shiogama, Miyagi in every September since 2012. Throughout his career, he defines his own path as a dancer with dynamic way of dance without boundary of any genre.
