I work with stretchable fabrics.
The imagery in my work is based on the essence of life as we see it.
I draw inspiration from plants, flowers, insects and landscapes.
Incidentally, I have loved to draw since I was a child.
I was wondering what kind of work I could do with my drawings when I came across textile design. Studying at university and postgraduate level,
I eventually found my own technique and began to create the fabric reliefs that I make today.
I also think that my creative roots lie in drawing, which I have been doing since I was a child. On my website you will find a selection of my drawings,
called "Meditation Sketches", together with fabric reliefs.
