Keiko & Atsushi Futatsuya is a group of Sashiko Artisans, Keiko living in Japan & Atsushi living in the US. Sashiko is a form of hand-stitching developed in Japan when the Japanese in rural region lived in harsh conditions with limited resources. As the word Sashiko become popular in the sustainable movement, we try to pass down the Sashiko we have received from our senior artsisans.
