Nagao Akemi is a PoC choreographer, dancer, and slowist, has been crafting pieces addressing discrimination and inequality since 2015. Her artistic interests involve the exploration and re-evaluation of the complex conflict between social structures and individual human psychology. Her choreography presents a distinctive and optimistic angle on these topics. She graduated from MA choreography (maC), HZT Berlin in 2021.
