Akiyoshi Imaseki Born November 19, 1959 I started making 8mm films when I was in high school, and I made my professional debut as a film director at the age of 23, producing 'Aiko, 16 Years Old,' under the supervision of the filmmaker Nobuhiko Obayashi. In recent years, works such as ``Kaiinas apple'' and ``Ren Ren Douka'' have continued to be filmed on location overseas, including in Eastern Europe and Taiwan. My latest works, ``Kamaishi Ramen Story'' and ``Too Blue Blue,'' are a new kind of film that aims to convey the charm of Japan's regions cities. As for other activities, I am also in charge of the making-of photography for Akira Kurosawa's film ``Dream's''.
