Good Design Award to Yamamoto Noh Theater!!!
Good Design Award 2020 to Yamamoto Noh Theater!! Following 2017, Yamamoto Noh Theater won the Good Design Award for their activity “Noh for SDG.” They have been working with children to think about nature and rebuild Japanese culture and traditions with the goal of achieving the SDGs through the power of traditional performing arts. The juries highly praised their pieces and related-activities for “Mizu no Wa (Water Rings),” which premiered in Osaka, in 2009 and “Orpheus,” which was produced last year in collaboration with the European Capital of Culture, Plovdiv 2019. Also, Mr Takayuki Fujimoto, a lighting artist who presented his archive within the framework of #KeepgoingTOGETHER, has been working together with Yamamoto Noh Theater as they present “Noh” with new technology and modern arts. Congratulations!!!
