Profile of “Heart of Peace Hiroshima Heart of Peace Hiroshima inaugurated in 2011 as a grassroot organization for the purpose of sending hopes, peace and healing through music and arts from Hiroshima to the world as well as revitalizing local communities of Hiroshima. At the beginning, Heart of Peace Hiroshima organized public events for Hiroshima citizens such as Peace Concerts. Registered as a NPO in 2016 in order to play a more active roles for peace from Hiroshima, the first Atomic Bombed city in the world and in more sustainable manner, they have strengthened the collaborations and held a number of events with overseas organizations and groups not only with local municipalities and other local grassroots organizations.
