Anna Tsuri is Internationally active as an Japanese opera director. and conductor. She Studied conducting and Flute in Japan, and she graduated "opera stage directing" as a first Japanese Student at the Musik Hochschule Hanns Eisler Berlin and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In 2015 she founded the Pomme Rouge Opera in New York, of which she is the general director. As a freelance opera director, she has directed more than 30 operas in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Vienna, Berlin, Riga Görlitz, and Tokyo. She has participated in over 100 opera productions in various opera houses and theaters, including the Vienna State Opera, Metropolitan Opera New York, Washington National Opera, Komische Oper Berlin, Bregenz Festival, Théatre du soleil Paris, etc. For 15 years she has been teaching acting for opera singers with a focus on organic combination between music and body through music analyse and healty voice, and since 2021 German Leader-analyse. She has been living in Germany and working at the Bavarian State Opera and the Bavarian Staatsschaspiel Residenz Theater in Munich.
