Noh singer Ms. Ryoko Aoki has conducted a series of projects “HO NOH – Pray for an end to the Covid-19” since May 2020. Through the projects, collaborative performances with European artists have been held online and streamed on YouTube.
In the vol.4 “For Netherlands”, Ms. Aoki will deliver a dedicatory performance of “hagomoro suite” by Ms. Noriko Baba with members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (the Netherlands), one of the three leading orchestras in the world. The musical piece was performed by Ms. Aoki and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam in February 2018, and got favorable reviews.

The International Online Meeting of Artistic Directors” from Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre is now available on Geigeki Channel on YouTube! For a limited time only, they are offering two online meeting sessions with the artistic directors who were scheduled to work with them this year through Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre/Tokyo Arts Festival 2020 and with other international artistic directors who have worked together for a long time. The artistic director of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, Mr. Constantin Chiriac presented on Session2 and Mr. Silviu Purcărete, who directed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre this year, also contributed a video message. San-in Boys and Girls Choir Little Phoenix that participated in the International Youth Concert at the European Capital of Culture Plovdiv 2019 (Bulgaria) last year, will perform in the TOTTORI LIVE YELL project!! On 20 December, they will hold the 15th regular concert at Yonago Public Hall, as the first part of the project. As well as live viewing at several locations in Tottori Prefecture on the day, the concert will also be distributed on YouTube (free of charge). If you can’t make it to the venue, this is your chance to enjoy the show from everywhere! Please check the details and your timezone!
